Alpha Beta Gamma (ABG) is an internationally recognized honor society that caters to students studying business and other related fields at two year institutions. The mission of the Zeta Beta Chapter is to enrich the City College of San Francisco community by assisting students in the pursuit of their educational and long-term career goals. Our meetings and events are open to all students regardless of declared or intended major. We host speakers and informational sessions, participate in service activities, and provide resources for students hoping to succeed at City College of San Francisco and beyond.

History
Alpha Beta Gamma is an International Business Honor Society established in 1970 to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students in business curricula. To achieve this goal, Alpha Beta Gamma provides leadership opportunities, forums for exchange of ideas, and the stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Since its founding, over 65,000 students from accredited community, junior, and technical colleges have been initiated in the Society. Alpha Beta Gamma is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, and an affiliate member of both the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and The Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC).
The Zeta Beta Chapter is the designated chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma for students attending City College of San Francisco. The chapter was founded by Jeffrey Zihong Wu, with assistance from Phillip Pak, Peter Dang, and Rachel Posman in the Fall semester of 2008.
